Double portrait – side by side or stacked?
We're doing a double monument with two portraits. Client can't decide – side by side or one above the other? What do you guys do more often and does one hold up better over time (e.g. less water pooling)?

We do side by side more often. Looks more balanced on a wide upright. Stacked can work if the stone is tall and narrow.
Same. Side by side. We've had a few stacked and one of them had a crack along the joint after a few years. Might have been bad luck but we stick to side by side now.
We let the client choose but we show them both in the configurator. Usually they go side by side. Easier to engrave too.
Side by side. Less risk of water sitting in the middle if there's a joint. We've had no issues with that layout.
Side by side it is then. Thanks everyone.
