Complex custom work vs simple kits – what do you focus on?

We do mostly complex monuments – custom shapes, figures, multiple elements. Simple stele + base + flower bed kits don't really interest us anymore. Anyone else in the same boat? How do you position yourself so you don't get flooded with 'just a basic upright' requests?

We're the same. We say on the site and in the first email that we specialise in custom and complex work. Basic kits we can do but we quote them higher so they're not the bulk of our work.

Same. We don't advertise the simple stuff. When someone asks we say yes but the price reflects it. Most go elsewhere for that and we keep the custom clients.
