Stone is leaning – can it be straightened?
One of the older stones in our family plot has started to lean. Not fallen yet but it's noticeable. Can it be straightened or does it need to be reset? Who do we call – cemetery or a stone workshop?

Depends how bad it is. If the base has shifted you might need to reset it – lift, level the foundation, put it back. Cemetery sometimes does it or they'll recommend someone.
We've had a few straightened. Small lean can sometimes be corrected by digging down one side and adding gravel, then tamping. Big lean = full reset.
Call the cemetery first. They often have a list of contractors who do reset work. Don't try to push it yourself – you can crack the base or hurt yourself.
Same. Cemetery first. If it's on their land they may have rules about who can do the work. We had a client do it themselves and the cemetery wasn't happy.
Will call the cemetery. Thanks everyone.
